The Wild Yehliu Geopark , Taipei , TAIWAN

Yehliu Geopark

Yehliu is located at Wanli of New Taipei City with a long cape. Because of the rock layer of nearby seashore contains limestone subject to marine erosion, weathering and earth movement, Yehliu is full of seawater-eroded holes as well as numerous rocks in the shape of mushroom, candle, ginger, and chessboard. This make the 1 700 meter-long cape a geology park with rich ecological resources and a prosperous fishing village.

So for the info, i went to Yehlui by bus from the Taipei City Hall MRT station. Go to the bus station and purchase the 2 ways ticket to Yehliu (bound for Jingshan Youth Activity Center) of Kuo-Kong Co. Bus number 1815 or you can pay the bus fare 84 yuan one way when you entered the bus. The journey from Taipei to Yehliu is about 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes(depends on the traffic). You guys might wanna grab some drinks and foods before you start the journey to Yehliu and please please go to the toilet and settle everything too. For those of you who is a *banana* (dunno how to read and write Chinese) don't worry so much about not knowing which station to go down. Its written on the bus each station that they stopped (easy and convenient).

*wait for the bus at stop number 7*

*wefie with some random people i met on board*

After 1 hour 15 minutes of journey,i finally reached Yehliu..! This is where they stopped and at the same place just opposite the road(cross the road) is where you gonna take the same bus 1815 back to Taipei City Hall.

*place i get down*

*take the bus 1815 opposite the road to go back Taipei City Hall*

*landmark that you should see when you get down*

So from the the landmark there, you will need to walk approximately 10 to 15 minutes to the Yehliu Goepark. Along the way you will get to see the Fishing Harbor. Most restaurant over here is seafood restaurant. I have no idea how much does the food cost but you can find out yourself next time.(hehehe)

*dried anchovies*

Without you realizing, you actually have reached your final destination. Yehliu Geopark..! The entrance fee is 80 yuan ok. Let the journey begin..!

*Queen's Head*

*mushroom rocks*

*candle rocks*
*Fairy's Shoe*
*Marine Bird Rock*

Few pictures of me with the magical wonderland of rocks in Yehliu. Excuse the face expression in some of the pictures cos its was very hot and sunny day.

I would suggest you guys to bring sunblock/sunscreen lotions,hat/cap to cover your head from direct heat,water/drinks as i said earlier,handkerchief/tissue, and last but not least also one of the weird list is spare shoe/sandals(unless you're confident that your shoe/sandals is in good condition). You wouldn't want to end up like me in the picture.
*yea another goodbye to my favorite shoe*

*luckily they did sell sandals and shoes outside the geopark this one cost me 100 yuan*

There are plenty of local food and drinks you can get outside the geopark. Give yourself a challenge to try something out of your comfort food. As for me(don't really like oyster) i had this *starchy* oyster with some red sauce on it. I'm surprised that i actually like it even though it looks horrible and not presentable. If you guys actually have plenty of time, please go for the Dolphin Shows opposite Yehliu Geopark. I cant remember the price for entry but its roughly 450 yuan for adult. This is my 3rd adventures with my #ysbh littleblue sign. Stay tune for more exciting places that i will post and share about. Thank you #ysbh #travelclub for giving me this opportunity. For you guys who actually spend time to read my blog and wondering what is #ysbh,do not hesitate to contact me through my email olivialsf92@gmail.com or you can just drop me a comment here.
